Job description:
Monitor and maintain the company’s network systems, ensuring optimal performance and quick resolution of issues. Serve as the first point of contact for network-related problems and provide basic troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor network systems, servers, and applications for performance issues and outages.
- Respond to network alerts and incidents, performing initial troubleshooting and analysis.
- Escalate unresolved issues to higher-tier support or relevant departments as necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation of network issues, actions taken, and resolutions.
- Perform routine network maintenance tasks, such as backups, patch updates, and system reboots.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and deployment of network equipment and devices.
- Ensure compliance with network security policies and procedures.
- Communicate network status and issues to relevant stakeholders and management.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless network operations.
- Participate in shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to provide 24/7 network monitoring.
- Follow established NOC protocols and procedures for incident management and escalation.
- Continuously improve knowledge of network technologies, tools, and best practices.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to internal and external clients.
Qualifications (English):
- Basic knowledge and skills in network and IT systems.
- Skills in monitoring and analyzing network issues.
- Good communication skills in both Thai and English.
- Proficiency in using tools and software related to network monitoring.
- Ability to work in a team and coordinate with other teams.
- Flexibility and ability to work in shifts.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure.
